Culinary Arts 2021 Holiday Bake Off!

Each culinary class as a whole competed as groups or soloists to bake in one category: cookies, brownies, pies, cakes, cupcakes. Each participating student prepared enough samples to present in class for at least four to five student panel judges while providing the following for their desserts: a name, recipe, picture, and a reflection of their baking journey in context of the last unit covered in the preparation stage of the flow of food. 
Each student practiced "kitchen staff" based practices when it came to upholding good personal hygiene, cleaning and sanitizing, avoiding cross contamination, and cross contact of food allergens in their own kitchen environment under supervision of an adult, but most importantly had fun while doing it!
